This is a great way to see if you like the LORAC company if you haven't ever used any of their products (I hadn't before). Everything included is full sized, none of that trial sized or mini crap. So the set is a great deal because if you look up the items individually priced on Amazon (or especially Sephora) they're about $25-$35 each. All the items are of high quality, I really liked the lengthening mascara. It also arrived promptly and was undamaged. I would recommend this makeup set.

This a great set to own. The instructions are very easy to follow and getting the kit is a great deal. LORAC makeup is amazing!

JUST GET IT!!! I had never used Lorac products before but found them to be very high quality. Cannot beat the price for what you get (in order of my favorites):
1. Eye lid primer -- thick gel compared to Urban Decay's semi liquid. I only used a tiny pinch (like 1/4 of a water drop) on my crease and spread it out to lash line and under brow. Lasted from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. and could have gone on for a few more hours if I hadn't taken it off. Nice feel--like silicone gel--and spreads easily.
2. Eye liner pen in black -- I always have bad luck w/ EL pens drying on me after a few uses even though I cap them tightly. This one was also a bit dry in the beginning but not as dry as others. It is getting more wet as I store it pointed down now. The hair on the pen is soft and very pliable. I always use Sephora's eyeliner seal on my liner so I don't know if it lasts. I forgot to put on sealer while going to church and it did last for 3 hours on the bottom lash line.
3. Mascara w/ lash primer -- The primer is supposed to be conditioning for the lashes but I can't tell a difference. I put lash primer on both eyes and then the mascara. It's okay. I usually put some of the excess mascara from the tip of the wand onto the lashes and brush it out to get a thicker effect. Then I use my finger to press my lashes upward to curl them again. (My lashes usually get straight again after mascara application.) The effect is pretty nice.
4. The baked trio eyeshadow -- the two lighter shades are very shimmery so they're good for night time. The charcoal is dark--good for smokey eyes. The shades for me are too much for daytime unless I want to be dramatic. Case is thick acrylic--very classy.
5. The brush is double ended but can't really get a good application out of them. Maybe used them for blending or for brushing shadow/brow powder fallout from your cheeks (?). The hairs stick out a bit.
6. The tutorial -- not really needed if you have worn makeup for a while or have less than ideal-shaped round bedroom eyes like me (Asian eyes).

In summary, great quality, great price. I needed primer and eye liner & got much more bang for my buck.
